Tiddlywinks is St Paul's parent and toddler group. We meet during term time on Monday and Tuesday mornings from 10.00 - 11.30am in the Church Hall.  It costs £1 per family.

What happens?

A typical morning

10.00 – 10.30 – Registration and free play in the hall (including an optional craft activity)

10.30 – 10.45 – Refreshments in the church lounge

10.45 – 11.15 – More play in the hall (including craft)

11.15 – 11.30 – Song & story time in the church lounge 
 

Toys

We try to have a selection of good quality toys providing an enjoyable and modern approach to play for the children. We are constantly reviewing and updating the selection of toys that we offer to be in line with best practice guidelines outlined by Care for the Family. We have also recently introduced baby treasure baskets which are baskets full of random objects such as nailbrushes, egg cups, whisks etc. that babies can interact with. They feature at all Surestart centres and are recommended by health visitors and child play experts.

Craft

“God made creating fun!” We have a small team amongst our helpers who are committed to providing good quality, varied craft activities that are enjoyable for both the children and the mums.

Baby Room

This is a separate space for first-time mums with young babies. We aim to provide a more relaxed environment where new mums can allow their babies to play whilst they get to know others members of the group. There are facilities for baby changing and feeding.
