COSMIC
‘Children On Sunday Meeting In Church’ meets during the 10.30 morning service most Sundays during term time. In COSMIC we aim to provide an environment that is fun encouraging and safe; where week by week, year by year, children can:
- Begin to know the love of God through Jesus
- Grow in their relationship with Jesus
- Make and develop new friendships
- Learn about Jesus’ way for living in the world
- Have fun every week!
All children are different and we try and cater for them all. If your child has a special need then please talk to your child’s group leader and we will endeavour to do all we can to help your child feel at home.
Children worship with their families and the rest of the congregation in the Church at the beginning of the service and then leave for their COSMIC group. The groups finish at 11.50am, regardless of when the service finishes. COSMIC is made up of five groups:
Little Stars
Little Stars is for children up to the age of 2 and meets in the Crèche Room. It aims to provide an place where children can play, learn to trust and interact with others, whilst being prayed for.
Shooting Stars
Shooting Stars is for children from the term after their 2nd birthday through to their preschool year and meets in the Heritage Room. It aims to help children learn how great God is and that he loves them; as well as developing a relationship with Him though a variety of activities such as singing, story and craft.
Rockets

Satellite Crew and Galaxy Gang

It aims to help children to grow in their knowledge of God through Jesus and his word, as well as develop and deepen their relationship with Him. The children get to know each other better through smaller age appropriate activities as well as engaging altogether to learn about Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him and God. |
