Ron and Patty McCulloch
Working with Friends International in Birmingham, seeking to impact thousands of international students with the good news about Jesus by mobilising churches to reach out in friendship and hospitality; offering the opportunity to study the Bible; and helping those who are, or become, followers of Jesus to bear fruit wherever God leads them after their study.
Ron leads the Birmingham work amongst international students; Patty heads up the staff training programme nationally and is involved locally with CAMEO, a group for international women.
Ron and Patty worked for 10 years in Indonesia with OMF, doing mainly student ministry. On their return to the UK in 1993 they began working with Friends International (formerly known as International Student Christian Services).
Connection with St Paul's
Shortly after their marriage in Aberdeen, Ron and Patty moved to Warwick and began attending St Paul’s. They led the Pathfinder group and became thoroughly involved in the life of St Paul’s during the brief 2 years they lived in the area. When they went out to work in Indonesia in 1983 with OMF, St Paul’s was one of their main supporting churches and has continued to support them in ministry ever since.
Ron and Patty have 2 adult children, Morag and Graham. Morag lives in London and will marry Simon in October 2011. Graham lives in Cambridge.
