We believe that everyone has something to contribute, and encourage every member of St Paul's to get involved in praying, serving and giving. The possibilities for serving at St Paul's are many and varied which means whatever your gifting may be, we would love for you to be involved.

Serving Opportunities

If you are interested in serving at St Paul's, we would love to hear from you! We have some particular needs listed below, but wherever your interest lies, please get in touch with the respective ministry overseer to talk about using your gifts to serve here at St Paul's...

Current Vacancies

Sound Operators (All Services)
We are in need of people to operate our PA desk in the church for both services and special events, previous experience is not necessarily needed (it’s really not as complicated as it looks) but a reasonable grasp of technology and a good ear for music would be an advantage. Please contact John McKellar for more details.

Visuals Operators (All Services - particularly 11:15am)
Our visual’s system is relatively simple both to load and operate and if you are able to use a computer for programs such as word and powerpoint - you will almost certainly be fine. We’re keen to add team members at all our services, although we would particularly like 4 or 5 people to start a new rota of folk at the 11:15 service who simply press through the slides (which would have been set at the earlier service). If you would like to have a play with the system to see if you could use it, that can be arranged. Please contact John McKellar for more details.

Readers (All Services - particularly 11:15am)
We would like to add people to the team who read the bible in all our services. Training will be provided. Please contact Naomi Gaade for more details.
Meeting with a young person for an hour or so a month to help them grow and develop in their faith as they seek Jesus in their day-to-day lives. Please contact Kate for more details.

Tiddlies Praise
Each week are seeing between 60 & 80 families at our midweek Baby & Toddler group, Tiddlies Praise. We especially need some more kitchen team to serve tea & coffee to the parents and carers, occasionally supervising the children's snacks table and generally being friendly and welcoming to all! Please contact Katy for more details.

Movers (Morning Services)
Movers is our EYFS Sunday morning kids group (ages 2.5ish - 5). The session is an hour long, the children have a drink & snack, a Bible story with lots of sensory & play activities based on that particular story, (very) informal prayer and some singing & dancing! We have vacancies for both 'Helpers' and 'Leaders' in this group. Contact Katy Traynar for more details.

Groovers (9:30am Service)
Groovers need "Pod-parents" for the 9.30 service -  discipling children aged 5-11, a weekly commitment to guiding a group/pod of around 6 -10 children round a carousel of activities with the chance to build relationships and develop their spirituality. No weekly prep needed. Guidance provided. We also need leaders on our rota (up to you how frequent)  to run activities (ideas/materials provided) in the Construction, Game and Wonder zones. Contact Katy Traynar for more details.

Engage Youth Leaders (Morning Services)
Working with our 11-14’s on a Sunday morning. Eating pastries, playing games, reading the Bible, small group discussion and helping to disciple our young people. Please contact Kate for more details.
